PLEASE READ the FAQ below before contacting! It is very likely your question is already answered below.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS!

- How do I get my band onto a show?
Very simply. Email me and let me know what you want to do. If you are a local band, either mail me a package including a demo, or email me a link to songs that I will be able to hear. You are going to want to have something professionally recorded, with a history of shows played in the past as well. Please, if you are a band, please don't call. The phone number above is for parents or others to contact with questions.

- When I purchase a ticket, and they tell me it's "on will call", what does that mean?
Easy. If you are the person who purchased the ticket, just bring your ID with you to the show. Give your name at the door, tell the person at the door your name is on will call, and you will be matched up on a list and admitted.

- The show flyer says $8, but the show was $10 at the door. Why?
Most, not all, shows that have a presale ticket available for them have a bumped up charge at the door, to cover the service charge those who purchased presale tickets as best as possible. This is set at a management level, it is something that sometimes we can't avoid. Your best bet is to always get a ticket for a show if they are on sale, because that way, you are guaranteed into the show.

- If the show sells out presale, are there going to be tickets available at the door?
No, unfortunately not. If a show sells out presale, there will be no tickets available left at the door. Like mentioned previously, if there are tickets on sale for a show, to ensure entrance into a show, get yourself a ticket.

- Is there going to be re-entry allowed at the show?
That is designated on a show to show basis in most venues, depending on attendance, age restrictions, and availabilty.

- I wanna help promote shows for you. How can i do that?
We will be starting a street team shortly. In the meantime, sign up for the myspace syracuseshows.com account, and keep telling all of your friends about upcoming shows!

- Can you book my favorite band to play here?
Let's just say, I'm trying to get as many new and popular bands here as possible. If you want to help try and get your favorite bands to play here, email them. Tell them why you want to see them come to Syracuse, and if they can, they will come find me. Trust me.

- What does "16+ with photo ID required" mean?
Well, simple. That is an unfortunate enforcement of an Onondaga county law that states that if you are an establishment serving alcohol to your patrons (people at the show), your patrons must minimally be of the age of 16, with state issued ID to prove it, or else accompanied by a parent or legal guardian also with ID. This unfortunately isn't something we can avoid from time to time, so try to encourage your parents to bring you to shows. Tell them I said they will have fun.

- I was kicked out of a show for nothing. Why?
Well, obviously, you weren't kicked out for nothing...you had to have done SOMETHING! If you are underage and caught drinking, you are escorted out, no questions. If you are dancing too aggressively and becoming a threat to hurt someone, you are escorted out, no questions. If you attempt to come into the show already intoxicated, you will not be let in. Pretty much, shows in Syracuse are assembled so that EVERYONE can have a good time, so please, come out, BEHAVE, and let everyone around you, as well as you, have a blast.

Anything that wasn't listed above, feel free to email me, or call if necessary. However, expect to be chided from me if you are asking a question that is already above. Come out, HAVE FUN!
